This park is so lovely! There were butterflies everywhere. We only visited once, and went straight to the playground, but in our short visit we loved our time here. I'm sure there is way more to offer. It was such a great time.

Miles of hiking and biking trails. Wild deer, Great Blue Heron, armadillos, turtle pond and a Butterfly garden. A canoe launch ramp, and fishing access to Spring Creek. It is an access point to the Spring Creek Greenway, which is a paved bicycle path that extends from the 69 bridge over the West Fork of the San Jacinto, 17 miles to Highway 45 near the Hardy Toll Road exit.

No it's pretty easy to access. there's a road that goes straight to the water
It opens at 8am, and closes at dusk. Anyone is welcome, and it's free. It's a gorgeous park, lots of trails, definently worth the trip. I always try to go as soon as it opens before it gets too hot.
You have a choice of paved paths or dirt paths along with a playground for the children. There are maps at the trailheads which give you an idea of which trails to take
Overall the Park is as good as new!
Yes they have multiple but im not sure of u can bring ur own.☺
After you see all fish belly up underneath one of those bridges not too far from the park it will give you second thoughts on that keeping part...
The office is at the entrance and they are good people. They have workers turning around but they don't have forest guards
Very nice 😎 fishing areas big fish, alagatorgar, blue gil, turtles big ones.nice shady areas! Love it.😁
It's perfectly safe to kayak here... When the water is low, you can paddle up to spring creek, just be sure to let the park staff know when you're going, they will open the gate so you can drive down to the launch. Happy paddling!
None real close , there is fast food maybe a lil over a mile away and lots of real restaurants couple miles away . Be easiest to just google it
Yes there's paved trails
On leash and only on Judy Bell's trail. Not allowes on any other trails.
That why I always leave 30 minutes early just to be safe
They have wifi. But when you go off far enough on the trails it gets kicked off. My cell phone kicks back on.
What they said..lol
Not sure, I would ask Park officials. I wouldn't think so but worth a shot to ask🤘🏿
In the early mornings
They are in the ponds, and creeks along the trails I assume.
It is a beautifull place to bike ride. There is a paved trail. You can go from Jesse Jones park to Pundt Park it is an approximately 9 milles of trail. About the mountain trails, I really don't know.
People are still going and there is room to spread out. Only area where there is a concentration of people is the playground
Maybe 👀
Yes. There is a specific trail for horses. It's better for you to call and make sure that the trail is still available to ride.
I'm unsure but they're usually empty. Most people hike the trails, fish, or jog. There's an information booth upfront that would be know for sure.
Yes but you do need to clean up.
License is 11 for one daiy or 48 for year
Some days pretty good, some days its slow. Tend to do well with night crawlers
No fee to use the park. There us a nature c center, not sure about that.
Dawn to dusk.Hours change through out the year depending on average time of sunrise and sunset
Maybe check with the park office and you could set up the event.
There is a pavilion that you can reserve. But it is not close to the water, if you are meaning the creek. It is very close to the playground. You will need to call them to see if it is available to reserve when you want it. You might also check Mercer Arboretum. They also have a big Pavilion that you can reserve.
Depends on the time of year. White bass come up Spring Creek to spawn late December through February, white crappie are about a month later. Jigs with twisters tails work well, as well as rattletraps. Catfish are year-round. No fishing in the ponds though...creek only!
Some parts are still damaged from hurricane harvey But they have opened other parts that are in good condition.
I can't answer that at this time. Conditions unknown to me..
Can you go kayaking there?
