This place is great. We stayed in 48A and B. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms are big. The view of the lake from both up and downstairs is fantastic and it was so quiet. We've been here before but this is by far the best experience we've had. Nice walking path along the shore. We didn't want to leave.

We just got done spending a weekend away after our wedding. I honestly had extremely high hopes with this place looking at pictures. When arrived at check in staff was extremely friendly and we got our room which was a pet friendly room #29. We have stayed at a couple of pet friendly rooms before but unfortunately this one was extremely worn out, carpet had rips in it, coaches really needed to be replaced. The only good this was the view, the resort looks worn out on outside. During our stay we couldn’t get the AC unit to turn down the temp, and the bathroom light when in use would flash as well. This was not worth the price we had to pay nightly.

Very happy with the space in the condo. Pleasantly surprised by the amount of things available complementary, like the s'mores kits! Excellent service, on-site restaurant is very good and reasonably priced!! Great location near so many great state parks and trails! Only negatives: 1) our door is pretty drafty - it's very windy during our stay, so the wind is just whistling through the door, and 2) the pillows are like fat gnocchi, shorter than a usual pillow and very stuffed, so I have to sleep on the corner of it so my head isn't thrust into the sky.

I would like to start out saying that the resort was beautiful. The front desk was amazing and very knowledgeable. I was very impressed with their customer service. However, we needed information on potentially having our wedding ceremony and reception. It was quite difficult getting ahold of the wedding coordinator there but when we finally did we made plans to come up and look at the venue. We made the drive which was roughly 3 hrs and 45 min. She let us know they had a place for the wedding reception. We get there and its a room with booths, and a few tables over looking the water. The view was beautiful. But she then let us know we could only have the space for 2.5 hrs which was $1500 and we could not have a DJ. In my opinion this should have been communicated before we made the drive. I also do not think that she was very personable and seemed extremely preoccupied. We did not feel welcomed more of an inconvenience. We decided to eat dinner to give us an idea of how the food was and I wanted to try the ribs, they were dry and rock hard. I asked waitress if that is how they were supposed to be and she brought them in the back and came out and told me that they are not supposed to be that way. If one meal turns out like that imagine getting 50 meals at once catered and the turn out. This is a special day and we all would like our day to be perfect. I think the wedding coordinator should be a little more welcoming it may have made our experience a little better.
