My boyfriend and I were looking for breeders who take pride in their litters - and Bear Creek Labs was EXACTLY that! We’ve now had our chocolate lab, Boone, for almost three months, and he has been an absolute blessing. He is very smart and loyal, and at 15 weeks - knows over 20 commands as well as being the biggest people pleaser. He loves going on walks and we can’t keep him away from the water if we tried! The adoption process was humbling, to say at the least. I received individualized updates nearly every week in regards to both the litter and the mother, Bailey. We set up a time to meet when the litter was around 5 weeks old - and we were able to see everything in its entirety! You can see the genuine care that Rick and Tim both put into their litters. They made a first time adoption go by smoothly, as well as being there for any questions we had. I couldn’t be more pleased with both our pup and the experience. If you’re looking to get a lifelong friend from a responsible breeder, I HIGHLY recommend Bear Creek Labs!

We recently just purchased a puppy from Bear Creek Labs. I recommend buying from Bear Creek. The two gentleman who raise the pups keep you well informed of the puppies early stages. Id rate higher than 5 stars if I could. Keep up the great work!!

Our experience with Bear Creek was great! I was very particular about choosing a breeder when I was looking for a new pup. I personally have over 25 yrs experience with labs both raising and breeding so as a former breeder I knew exactly what I was looking for. After speaking with Jim I chose Bear creek and am very glad I did. We got updates when the female was bred when the pups were born and Weekley updates while they were growing. We got our silver Male Wrigley on the 18th of January 2019. ( same litter as the negative review) He has a wonderful temperament hes very smart and at 13 weeks old hes already house broke. I have a 5 yr old and 2yr old and he is great with them. I'm a little surprised that someone would post a negative review about the breeder because their puppy "bit" someone. First of all you have to understand that they are puppies. They are full of energy and they want to play play play. Yes all puppies have sharp teeth and they WILL get you with them from time to time when they are playing or getting a treat as a reward. They dont know how to do it gently as they are extremely excited and they are BABIES! they dont have arms or hands they grab everything with their mouth! and YES that is up to the owner to teach them to do so gently. My 5 and 2 yr old already understand this very well and do a very good job with him. Secondly as I stated before I am a former breeder and Wrigley will be the 9th family lab I have raised. I've sold dozens of litters and never once have I heard a complaint about a puppy intentionally biting anyone. It doesn't make sense. Could it have been the environment? Absolutely it could have. Agressive adult labs are hard to come by and I've never heard of an aggressive pup. More than likely the puppy was playing and not being mean and/or there was a treat involved and lack of experience on the owners part made them think the pup was being mean. But to then turn around and blame the breeder...really..? I would also like to add that I do not personally know anyone from bear creek and that i am speaking from my experience with them and many yrs of experience with labs. I can tell you they are a very good breeder and that we will be back! And to Jim and everyone else at bear creek , Thank you very much and keep up the good work.

We picked up Mayzie on January 18 from Bear Creek Kennels and have had a great experience. She was been completely housebroken less than a week and a half after we picked her up. She goes to the slider when she needs out and if she needs to go at night she has been very good at coming to the bedside and waking us. She's very playful with our older lab and also my son's 2-year old. We have her in the house all day when we aren't there, visiting her at lunch and haven't had any problems. She brings toys when she wants to play and is very attached to my 13-year old daughter. She also loves playing with the grandchildren. She was retrieving the first week we had her, both tennis balls and bird dummies. We are very pleased with this pup and would definitely recommend to others and go to this kennel again.

I'm not the breeder. You'll have to get in touch with the owner.
