They cancelled our reservation with six days notice. We had the reservation for months- the weekend in question ended up being an extremely busy weekend- cannabis convention, raiders home game, and EDC (huge EDM festival). Pretty obvious money grab on their part, I’m sure they doubled or tripled what they were going to collect from us but obviously pretty unethical. They claim they cancelled us due to “maintenance issues” but come on. They were total jerks about it, offered no condolences/consideration and of course got super hostile pretty quickly, claiming that they didn’t care if they screwed us or if we were unhappy because they have so much rental interest in their house. Pretty telling. If they actually felt bad about not being able to rent to us, there’s many different ways they could have made that clear and they didn’t choose any of those avenues, not even a sincere apology for crying out loud. Anyway- if you decide to book here do so with the knowledge that you might get left high and dry with less than a week to make other arrangements if they have more “maintenance issues” they want to address instead of make good on their rental commitment to you.
