This past month the residents on the south side of Lexington have experienced their water bills being doubled, some raised by only $10.00. There has been no communication from this company regarding price increases. I had a bill of $980.00. They treated me like I had a leak. No leak of 4000 gallons of water per day will go unnoticed. They have us by the throat.

worst company and absolute worst customer service. They rip off with unfair billing practices. When I asked being charged unfairly, the agent said yes but she can do nothing about it. Some of them just lie to end the call as they do not know what to do. This company should learn from other utility companies or stay out of business. Many links in the website are broken and customer self service portal is useless.

I'm not sure. I don't work for the water company. You would have to ask them why they charged you so much from one month to another. Sorry I couldn't answer your question.
Call and talk to customer service
Paid departments do not, and cannot provide that service because they are a government entity, making such actions illegal Some may do for a fee, check with your city.
I didn't have deposit either.

That's not a leak. That is the monopoly of Lexington. In mercer county(harrodsburg) my bill was 25 a month. Here it is 80. Worst setup ever!
The hold time is ridiculous but i have found it helps if you call the 800# rather than the 859#
How does a poor person come up with all these deposits you have to have to move? Gas deposit, electric deposit, water deposit, rent deposit+ rent? It’s why so many people are homeless. I have a full time job and I can’t do it. Shame on all these big companies!
