Got a set of cartilage piercings back in winter of 2016 (not my first) the guy piercing me decided the bar was too long (so??) so he took it out and put in a shorter one. As a result. EVER SINCE this piercing has had issues. Im no expert but putting a bar in a brand new piercing, then taking it out ti replace it when you dint actually need to, can cause issues and it did. Very disappointed as i had high hopes for this shop. Sloppy job. Its an issues if the bar is too short, too long is really just an aesthetic thing which i didnt request and for the sake of proper healing would have been fine with whatever. Wish he actually asked me my preference before swapping out the bar in a newly pierced and swelling piecing. It still had issues to this day. This about this situation every time it has an occasional flare up ( none of the other 12+ ear piercings i have, have issues. )
