I called ahead and received information that a rental for a knee walker would be prorated if I did not use it the entire month. The lady was extremely nice. When I picked it up, i clarified it with her. I used it for a week and returned it. I found out that when I returned it, they do not prorate. The information I received was incorrect. I was told they would get with me on what they were going to do. I called the following week and was told they would "make an exception". They would return part of my money but would be charging me a cleaning feee. I would have no problem with that, except, my invoice has a sticker on it that says "If returned excessivley, there will be a $30 cleaning fee." To me, that means if returned clean, there is not a cleaning fee. This has left a bad taste in my mouth after what was originally a very pleasant experience.

What a truly incredible place. Our 18-year-old pomeranian would not take his medicine. Hopelessly, I went to our vet in tears, explaining that I was spending three hours a day trying to cook different foods just to get our boy to take his medication, and still, he wasn't getting it. I didn't mind the time I spent as he was worth every second, but it was that at the end of the day, he still wasn't getting this critical medication. The vet did some research and found out that Tri-State compounding pharmacy could change the manner we administer his medication into a topical form. It was such an incredible blessing as we were able to watch Hurley slowly regain his interest in food once again and I was no longer offering him unhealthy options just as a means to get him to take his food. Each time we needed a refill, they were quick and efficient. They would even call ahead of time to ensure our medication was ready when we needed it. The last time they called, unfortunately I had to inform them that we would no longer be needing the medication as we had just found out our sweet boy only had days to live. Cancer is truly a terrible thing. Of course I was unable to keep my composure and began to cry on the phone as I told them to discontinue the medication. The woman I spoke with was so thoughtful and caring and took an extra moment to check on me, accurately guessing that something was wrong with Hurley, even calling him by name. Fast forward a few days (six days since our sweet boy passed), and we receive a sympathy card in the mail. But the most amazing part of this is that it is not a generic card. No, this card has been handmade, down to the cut out saying glued on the top and the dog and bone stickers adhered to the front. It was such a genuinely thoughtful gesture, and it reminds me just how much is lost with big corporations and chains. This pharmacy is an absolute treasure where their one-on-one focus, attention, and compassion is unmatched. It is also wonderful to know if we ever need medical equipment, we have somewhere just up the street that has a large selection in stock with knowledgeable staff ready to greet and help you the moment you walk in. If you need anything, I highly recommend visiting them.

They made an extra effort to assure timely availability of a needed medication. However, we ended up spending 90 minutes plus on the phone with our insurance before this pharmacy agreed to the expected price. Once this issue was resolved they have been wonderful.
