The people at this place are so rude. I went to get a Florida drivers license and the woman couldn’t have been more short and rude. What a way to be welcomed to Florida.

Under the circumstances of how many people have moved here in the past 2 yrs it wasn't so bad I've seen worse as far as time waiting but most of the people we have dealt with are friendly

I took my wife to get her handicapped parking permit and we met Raven who was so helpful, friendly, and professional. She made a trip to the tax collectors office pleasant and easy. Wow! Thank you.

They are still limiting access, have chairs far apart, & can't seem to keep track of people in line. Instead of having one person, standing outside, giving out numbers (or, just put the dispenser out there), then calling in the next person in line. I got in, there were 15-20 people already in, & I was called five numbers later! Imagine the dirty looks that got me... The person who waited on me was very nice, very efficient & pleasant to deal with. But they really need to get the line, numbers for who gets waited on next, made clear, simple & fair. Poor Management at this location.

not always. summerfield is an unincorporated community which means it's not governed by municipality. the only govt building it claims is the postal office. although it IS a part of Marion County, and there IS a Belleview Police Department, they will not file your case. you will have to go to the Marion County Sheriff's Office or Ocala Police Department. I had a horrible incident that happened to me just after my mother passed away and ALL 3 agencies could not be bothered in the least!!! it was disgustingly heartbreaking as they CHOOSE whom they want to help. good luck to you!
Not at all, just take a number, I will say, I was very impressed.
I'm not sure because you have to show your ID
The Belleview DMV is fully open for all services including driving test and all tag ,title and licenses . This is my go to place due to the staff being awesome and they are rather quick even when there are a ton of people. AND no they don't care if your from here or not.. They won't even ask.. Hope this helps .
Yes, you can , usually 2 times after you get your drivers license, unless it’s been like 12 to 14 years and then you have to go to a Tax Collectors / DMV office and take an eye exam to renew your DL.
Usually they take you out on the main roads . But when I moved here to Florida 15 years ago, they just transferred my Virginia drivers license, only an an eye test and paperwork.
You would need to call them to ask. Or it might be on their website... I'm sure at least them part of your question about documentation would be answered there.
No, you don’t . You just go there, take a number and wait til your number is called.
If you want to be at the head of the line look on their website for what time they open. Some days are more crowded than others
You need to go talk to them in person. Different types of tags have different prices.
Birth certificate, social security card, proof of residency
What is a twic card
They do.
I've never experienced fingerprinting. If you think there is a reason you wouldn't want to be fingerprinted, you could call them from a pay phone and ask them.
$48 + service fee of $6.25 for cash or check. More for CC.
For the Belleview office, no appointment needed but you want to get there before 3:00 pm. They stop doing test at a certain time because they close at 4:30 pm.
No
