How late can I drop off books? and what is the daily charge if they are late?

Emma Fox-Lind | Oct 18, 2018
Skokie Public Library | Oct 18, 2018

Late fees on almost everything are now 10 cents a day. Certainly all books! If you return the books in the outside bin on the south side of the building, they will be considered on when the bin is first emptied in the morning. In other words, if something is due today, it could still be returned after we close tonight, as long as it's there by, say, 6 am tomorrow. Thanks for asking!

my lication is 9519 Gross Point Rd, how can i get to the librery by bus?

Armine Balyan | Oct 18, 2018
Al M | Oct 18, 2018

I'd take the #97 Skokie CTA bus south, from there. Get off at Niles Center and Oakton(an office building is on the northeast corner too), and it's a block or 2 west of there. On the south side of the street, past (I believe) Skokie's village hall.
