Tesla superchargers are for Teslas only. Just plug them in. That's it.

Are there charging stations with a J1772 connectors?

No, they are all Tesla only connectors at the Eastview Mall. Across from the Mall in the North Face Store parking lot there is a J1772 ChargePoint connector.

For the Rochester NY area Tesla's are normally serviced out of Cleveland Ohio and Sales would be Mount Kisco NY. There isn't any local Tesla support at the moment but there may be a service center coming to Batavia NY
