I have supported the Pilot/Flying J Reserved Parking program all over the United States and have, too often, been told that even though I've reserved a parking spot, because someone who did not reserve a spot has taken mine, all that the store can do is issue a refund. This evening at Big Springs, NE, even though there were still seven unsold reserved spots, I would not be able to park in one because the store staff is not allowed to ask anyone to move after 10:00 pm. This causes me to wonder why Pilot/Flying-J has a program that they do not support and why should anyone bother paying to park. Occasionally I run across some stores that take Reserved Parking seriously, the security staff is either carrying openly or carrying concealed, they have the phone number of their local Sheriff's Department, and they have no problem using it. Pilot Guest Services, you know how to reach out to me. I have a Rewards card, my name is unique enough, and my e-mail is likely attached in some manner to this review. I would enjoy hearing your justification for this program of yours that you are not willing to get behind.

Just had the nicest experience at this Flying J. While my husband pumped gas I used the restroom and then poured two large sodas. When I went to the register to pay the clerk he said to have a great day. I looked confused and asked how much I owed and again he said to have a nice day and that my purchase was on the house. When I asked why he said that he felt like being nice. I couldn’t thank him enough for such a sweet gesture.

The employees were friendly. Shower was decent and clean with good water pressure. Parking lot was pretty clean too. My husband enjoyed his pizza and the coffee was tasty (but they may want to try to invest in a new coffee maker, it’s definitely worn). Had no problem finding a parking spot for the night.

First Last

I avoid this one. Not much works good here. The place isn't that clean. There are different prices at at fuel pump. The parking lot is big but not even. The Plus for today is paper towels and washer fluid at the fuel pumps. The restaurant is open again. They do have a subway. The rest of the food isn't that good. The new owners are not recommended.
