I was looked down @ stood in line as others around me( in line after me) where helped. When they decided to address me I was told we don't do a lost & Found with the wallet/purse I found from a previous customer & that they wouldn't take any of my items. Thankfully the lady/previous customer came Back and I gave it to her myself. They didn't even go through my bag The items were just as I had put them in the bag and I was in the store waiting due to policy for over 45 minutes! Worst experience in my life I will never go back to that store again If I wasn't so fond of Plato's closet I would never ever go back to Plato's closet again and I wouldn't recommend them to any of my friends I would do just the opposite they would lose a lot of business.

I had never been to Plato’s closet before but decided to give it a try. A very costly mistake. I found two coats that might work for me but was unsure so I decided to check with the cashier to make sure it was like a normal thrift store and nothing could be returned. I knew that most likely one or both of the coats would be returned so I figured I would leave them there and come back if I decided I wanted them. When I asked the cashier if I could return them, she said “Of course! As long as it’s within 7 days and you have the receipt.” Wow! That’s wonderful! Too good to be true, I thought. It was. I returned both items today, two days after I purchased them only to get told that I would get $50 back in store credit. STORE CREDIT?! To a place I never go, that’s overpriced to begin with?! After I specifically asked the return policy? Yes. I was told that there is nothing they can do, this is their policy and I should have read my receipt. Why would I have read my receipt when I specifically asked and followed the directions I was given? No, only store credit. I told the manager that I was very angry and that, after using my $50 in store credit, that I would never come back.
