What a gem! In the desert you don’t expect to find a great deli. But Lajitas General Store has one. Best Ruben sandwich! Excellent proportions and presentation. Potato salad side is great too. Been twice. Both times great quality. Look for Miranda & Lillian. They make above average sandwiches!!

Top notch service! We pulled in on motorcycles, sweaty and dusty after coming through the park, and were greeted and welcomed warmly. Got everything we needed, plus some truly delicious sandwiches. My wrap was perfect - I enjoyed every single bite, and while prices in the deli may appear high at first glance, we were all 100% satisfied with our lunch boxes - the sandwiches and wraps were large, fresh, and stuffed full. We will definitely be back!

I appreciated having a place to get food after exploring the state park. We picked up the deli sandwiches. I was disappointed they were $10 each. But. They were large, delicious, made to order, and filled us up. There is seating outside and inside to enjoy your food and cold drinks. We also met Clay Henry, official elected mayor of Lajitas. He's a goat.
