Positive: Parking was close- that¿s the upside. Negative: It smelled awful- like someone infused the room with a horrible, cheap air freshener. My partner thought it was to cover a smoke smell. Not an up to date place if that¿s what you¿re looking for¿not not on the retro or quaint meter, either.

Accomodations were as expected…I definitely did my research on hotels close to Wesleyan and didn’t go in blind. If you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t the place but if you’re looking to stay near Campus in a clean place, this will work just fine. Pros: Beds are comfortable, shower has great water pressure and hot water, rooms were clean, no bedbugs, owners were very friendly and accommodating. Cons: when we walked in, there was an overwhelming smell of a mixture of curry and cigarette smoke. We went to CVS and grabbed air fresheners and Febreze extra strength to spray. It helped but if you are sensitive to strong odors, this may not be the best place for you. Overall, it worked fine for our needs for a quick weekend visit.

I stayed here a couple nights before a friend's wedding. For $80 a night you know you're not getting the Ritz, but the place was clean, comfortable, convenient, and has a solid pet policy - I was able to get a last minute room for myself and a dog with no hassle at all. Very quiet area and close to several major roads. The people that run the place were very nice about me locking myself out of the room at 5 AM too - whoops. Bonus: the showers get nice and hot pretty quickly, which is not something I can say about every place I've stayed!
