Greenwood Cemetery is unique with the older historic area which began in the 1800’s, complete with ancient cedar trees overhead, then opening out into the newer part of the cemetery complete with personal touches like benches and newer plantings. The staff is wonderful. As a smaller cemetery it offers a more personal touch than a much larger operation.

I have several family members there. Very well kept grounds. Staff has always been kind and caring. We recently had my husbands services in the Chapel and so glad we did. Very charming and easily sat 35 family members.

I've had 4 plots at Greenwood for over 25 years. My husband died. I had his burial Tuesday Jan. 11, 2022. I have never been so embarrassed and humiliated in my life! We are following the Resthaven car. They can't find our site... and drive on past it. FOR GOOD REASON! All that was there was a plywood box with a large Orange cone on it to cover my husbands last resting place. I didn't know to request a tent. That's ok. I at LEAST thought there would be some chairs! All that was there was a white truck, a shovel and a man standing by! We dealt with what we were left with. we had our service.. sang, prayed and cried. Said our last goodbyes. In about 10 minutes, or less... we were still standing around... the guy dropped my husband in the hole and started covering him up! I was just STUNNED! That was the most cold disrespectful thing I'd ever gone through!
