We stumbled upon Parkes’ Place purely by coincidence while we were in CT for my daughter’s dance competition at Foxwoods. My daughter wanted no pet of the restaurants at Foxwoods after her dance classes, so I googled for local breakfast places because we were jonesing for pancakes. Out of the places listed, Parkes’ Place was just a 10 minute drive from our hotel in Mystic. We pulled up to a super cute building that looked like a house but wasn’t. We walked into the coziest and most adorable diner/restaurant and sat down at the counter. We were greeted by one of the owners who doubles as a chef and a waitress, and they were so down to earth and welcoming!! We ordered our food and coffee and by golly, not only was the coffee surprisingly GOOD (unlike the dirt coffee at IHOP or other breakfast places), THE PANCAKES AND THE DEUXE FARMERS OMLETTE WERE ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR!!!! I will never go to another breakfast place ever again -I will gladly make the trip to CT just to eat at Parkes’ Place. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would.

I visit Parke's Place often to enjoy a nice breakfast while I get some work done via the web. The food is always fantastic! The staff makes me feel welcome and I have met some wonderful locals as well.

From the time we walked in until we left we had a wonderful experience! Waitstaff was so friendly and the breakfast was delicious!!!
