I went to this store to purchase a dishwasher. I spoke with Zach the associate that was working I appliances I asked him several times if they installed and took the old one away at this time he told me yes to both questions several times. The dishwasher is delivered 2 days later at which time I was told the old one would be uninstalled and the new one would be installed. They dropped the new one off in the middle of my room and drove off. I then find out that they don't install so I called lowes and they told me they messed up and would have to get me on the list for the installer. Fast forward to a month later the installer calls me and says he's on his way so I told him don't forget you have to go to the store to pick the dishwasher up because they came and picked it up so it wouldn't be just sitting in the middle of my room for a month. He then tells me I just left the store and rhey said they don't know where your dishwasher is. So now I'm on the phone with lowes again and all I get is apology after apology so the installer told me he would have to find my dishwasher and then put me back on the list. So God knows how much longer I'm going to have to wait. I know one thing I will never purchase from lowes again and if I was you I would go down the street to Menards or somewhere else.

We called from Middletown, Ohio about a generator. We were transferred to lawn and garden where the man said he was outside, but he had plenty of them. We asked if he could help us with a particular one, he laughed, said yes, and HUNG UP ON US! We called back 2 more times and he heard our voice, and promptly put us on hold and refused to answer us again. We called back AGAIN and asked for the store manager. The manager said he would " take care" of that salesperson. I hate to say this, but I hope he loses his job. There was a girl working in that department too, and she did the same thing.

The staff isn’t what it used to be. A year ago they were very helpful and friendly and since then they’ve slowly gotten worse and worse. The past couple times that I’ve went and asked for help was a few weeks ago for some plywood that was on a taller shelf and I needed somebody to get it down with a forklift and I waited well over a half hour for it. Yesterday I went and they were advertising a drum fan on sale right at the front entrance. I ended up asking 3 different people for help and all they did was told me where to find it instead of walking over there and showing me it. I walked the area probably 6 times and couldn’t find that fan that I wanted. Why try to advertise and up sale something when you’re not even gonna help a customer who actually wants to buy it? And it’s not like their staff was busy. The 3 people I asked were all standing around chatting and not helping anyone else and if they just would’ve taken 1 minute to show me where it was, they could’ve made $400 for just 1 minute of work showing me where this fan was. Frustrated and annoyed I left without spending a dime and I don’t plan on spending anymore money there. I regularly go in to buy lumber from them and now I’m gonna be spending my money elsewhere. I went to menards shortly after I left lowes and the first person I asked helped me find the $400 drum fan I was wanting to get at lowes and it only took this guy 30 seconds to find it for me and made them a $400 sale that lowes lost out on. They chose to do that themselves though cause nobody there could take a minute out of their day to actually do their job and show me where this fan was. Fortunately I’ve found a new hardware store to shop at though and I encourage others to do the same unless you like your time being wasted.

Great plant section so far this year 2022!!! Wish they would carry a better selection of different types of soil, other than miracle grow because they're many issues with fungus gnats in that stuff. (For instance SCHULTZ is an AMAZING brand that I've had not one issue with in 5 years!) Every time I've went this year, there's a plant clearance section too-50% off and new plants arriving daily very often 😁 Worth a trip to stop and check em out!
