Certainly no sense of urgency here despite the line. Expect a wait. But staff are competent and friendly.

It's a busy place..but they are friendly

The south location used to be a friendly quick office. Now there are 2 workers at all times, they are extremely rude and purposely slow. I'll go back to Vandiver!

When it first opened it was really fast and well staffed to get through people quickly. Went in today. Three people and took over an hour just to be called. Not what it use to be.

You need your social card, birth certificate, and a house bill w your name an address on it. You need to report it lost so someone doesn’t use it for mischievous things
Yes Cari thats what i was told. I saw your question and called up there. They confirmed the answer to your question. Its a yes.
Yes
You only need to know your social security number, you don't have to present a card.
To get temp tags you need the same as plates except cheaper. 7$ for tags.
You just walk in. Number system an it moves fairly quickly.
Nope
Stand in line, bring proof of residency
Proof of insurance, inspection within two years, and property tax
Get a bank envelop. With the bank name in the upper left corner. Address to your address. With her name on the envelop. Put a stamp on it and drop it in the mail. Wait for it to be delivered to your address. That would be one way to have verification for her.
Better call.
I wasn't aware that the driving test was given there.
You don't need one any more just go there and get in line. The will help direct you
You have to go in.
Ask april!
Call and ask them.. there is several dmv's and their days vary.
There is not a grace period, after the end of the month that your license is due if you have not taken care of it there a late fee added on
Nope
No, you need a peice of mail and only certain types of mail will they accept. They take any bill water, electric, i think as long as the name and address is printed on the mail. im there alot i always bring magazines . The rest of the stuff you need to go to dmv.gov it has what u will need to bring for whichever occasion you need to go.
All testing is done at the highway patrol, which is next to the Vandiver location.
No. You just pay when you pick up your permit or drivers license.
Call them and ask is what i would do. U will just get several different answers on here. Or Google dmv.org and look it up there.
No. It is for vehicle and license renewal. I believe the testing site is off of vandiver.
They prefer you to bring a copy because they cant always find it. But they do have the ability to look it up. You can get a copy of your tax receipt at county office for 2 bucks.
Call the Police Department.
You can get your sticker or blue handicap hanger, but you will need to show paper from your doctor first
No, Driving test are only done at the Highway Patrol, which is located at 403 Vandiver Dr Suite D, Columbia MO. Although after you take the test you can go to the Columbia South DMV and apply for the license.
No. The only place that does the written exams are the highway patrol testing stations. The one in Columbia is located at 403 D Vandiver Dr.
You can renew both of them.
You will need the title signed over to your name, insurance, property tax waiver or receipt depending on if you've paid them before, and a safety inspection.
It depends on the type of license. A CDL requires more than a standard license. To be on the safe side I would make sure you have your old license and a proof of address. They usually send you a card in the mail telling you what you need for renewal.
