Working for a medical office, I have to call here when I need to follow up on auths/billing for patients. Hold times are long, and when someone finally answers, it seems like they just pick up the phone and let it sit there. You can say "hello?" over and over, but no one will respond to you. You can hear them shuffling papers and typing on the keyboard but they will not talk to you. Super frustrating and ends up wasting time.

These people are depriving me of a daily medication. Just because the doctor increased the dosage of my medication, they denied me access to my daily life saving medication. They do not care whether people live or die, just as long as they can exercise power amongst the people they insure. I've had to go to the streets to find my medication because these people have denied me access to a medication I've been taking for the past 5 years.

If can do a Google search, enter the words "McLaren doctors near me" and then search (or enter on a laptop/computer), and all of them will come up. Good luck.
Send an email to: mclarenhealthplan.org and let them know about the problem and what you want done about it.
Your Dr. has to send a prior authorization. As soon as they do it, you'll get the inhaler.
YES, WITHIN REASON.
McLaren Health plan Health care supports and provides mental health visits unlimited visits in a calendar year. I would imagine stress counseling falls into this category. I have been an employee for almost 5 yrs
Yes, if they have the Healthy Michigan plan. You can call Delta Dental customer service to get replacement cards and get help finding an in-network dentist closest to you.
Depends on the plan or Medication. Refer to www.mclarenhealthplan.org website for plan information.
Most likely it would cover your medical bills. The best thing to do would be to call customer service (number located on back of your insurance card) as soon as you are injured/admitted to the hospital to see what will be covered. You can also read your policy.
Previous answer stated that I could. That was incorrect. I just called and made to feel like an idiot. They said there is no such thing. Only for Medicaid.
You can call customer service And give them your new information or even the billing department since this pertain to an EOB
If the child is a newborn, you have 30 days to switch. Also, if the child is new with McLaren Health Plan, you also have 30 days to switch. Generally it is during open enrollment periods.
I work for McLaren Health Plan, regarding Medicaid, Commercial, or Health Advantage insurance. Do not get this confused with the hospital. We are an insurance company. Customer service hours have an open quo from 8:30 till 6:00pm
