Very nice place. Would love to camp & boat here.

We had a perfect spot. The only downfall was the reservoir is lowered, I think the ranger said end of July so while our spot was suppose to be right on the lake it was actually right on a mud bank and the lake was quite a bit away. Not close enough for a handicap person to walk to. However, the weather was perfect and it was a very relaxing place.

The park is well maintained by the county, clean and monitored every hour. The camp host was awesome! The resevoir is extremely low so what used to be waterfront sites are no longer. On the flip side, we reserved a 40 ft spot as we are a big 5th wheel and dully truck, in total about 57 ft long. This is NOT big rig friendly although its advertised as such. The site was a "pull thru" but you had to turn around in a tiny area to be able to pull thru on the correct side. The sites have huge rocks used for parameters which gives you very little room and the actual site is not straight, its curved. Try pulling a 40 ft 5th wheel into a curved spot with big rocks on the sides ... not fun. The website should be updated and adjusted for what the park can accommodate. 30 ft rigs or smaller will do much better at this location than big rigs.

Make sure if you are thinking of purchasing a yearly pass that you don't do it after you purchased the daily passes. They will not apply what was not used towards the yearly pass. Makes no sense when they are getting your money no matter what. Rude people and not at all willing to work with you.

Through the Larimer County website. I think they're supposed to be available sometime in September.
The campground is open but you'll need to make reservations in advance. For day use they are only letting in enough people to fill up the picnic tables then they usually close it off. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
I dont remember any sites that had a lot of shade...agreed, best to call the campground.
Yes
Not bad
Middle of the week has not been busy like the weekends or these past weeks. But this is now the beginning week of the busy season.
The sites are the same price no matter what equipment you have. 35/night I think. Check out the reserve American app.
Does inlet bay campground have 20 amp? Or just the 50 and 30 amp
Campground full. Paddle board first come first serve and are handled by independent group. Sign as u come in.
Not unless you bring your own. We have a service through our provider (Metro PCS) for a portable Wi-Fi device.
Horsetooth has a website that you can reserve sites on www.larimercamping.com It will give you all the information that you need about the cost, restrooms and etc. Hope this helps.
I saw charcoal grills that were along the South West side of the reservoir, however they filled up early with families. I believe that the entry fee is $9. per car for day use. Wishing you a happy and safe 4th of July! 🇺🇲
Yes
Yes, there are camp fire pits at the reservoir campsites. You'll have to bring your own firewood. Enjoy the area! Peace out.

Last time I was there it was about $25 per day plus the $7 daily fee per vehicle. I was there 8 weeks ago. Plus you can easy reserve a spot online or thru their "reserve America" app.
