My husband and I recently moved out of our apartment that we lived in for a year. A month later, we have received a letter in the mail informing us that we owe $800 for new carpets due to "irrevocable damages," yet the damages they are referring to are indentations from our couch and dog kennels. Our entire experience there we had issues, the groundskeepers constantly left the complex dirty and even untreated in the winters. They didn't treat the sidewalks and I fell on the ice while five months pregnant at one point. My husband and I both called in regards to the situation and they still neglected the area. People constantly pulled the fire alarm in our building, at all hours of the night. The people above us were constantly trying to get into our apartment. A racial slur was written on the exit door window for two months and reported multiple times as well as the disgusting amounts of trash and molded milk covering the stairs that all had been reported and neglected time after time. I do not recommended living here. Count on having management that doesn't have your back to make sure the area you're living at is well-maintained, they will price gouge in a housing crisis, and you'll be living somewhere that's increasingly becoming more rundown and unsafe.

Lived at Feildpointe for one year. During that year we had several maintenance issues that went unresolved. From the microwave door being broken upon moving in, to electrical issues, and the garbage disposal breaking. We had to clean mold out of the bedroom window sill. Several complaints were made about cleanliness of the building. From a spill that was never cleaned in the stairwell that was growing mold to a dirty qtip, beer cans left around the building, and dental floss in the vending machines. There is a massive problem with package theft the owners refuse to do anything about, even out of their package room. They also sent all residents a letter saying they were raising rent $200 due to “quality of life improvements” they only thing they ever did was install new thermostats. This caused several tenants to have to relocate. After moving we received a bill in the mail for $800 for a carpet replacement and their reasoning was there were indentations from furniture and some pet fur. Avoid this place, there’s far better rentals in the area. It’s overpriced and these people are true slum lords. Be advised, look elsewhere.

The one I'm in is 1105 and utilities separate. About 50ish.
Utilities are not included in the rent..there is separate bill for utilities every month
Unfortunately no. That is a downside when you return from grocery shopping! But many residents use shopping carts to transport bags, that helps.
