Sheil Playground is a tiny playground on the busy Southport corridor with a strong baseball theme that features the Cubs logo and a chalkboard replica of the iconic green scoreboard. A new playground - consisting primarily of large, red metal arches - provides climbing structures as well as a smaller area for younger children. The play area is completely enclosed and features several benches and picnic tables.

A nice little splash of nothing in a busy area. A cute playground that looks like a great amount of fun for those younger folk. Not dog friendly; which is totally understandable. Some nice tables right outside the playground area that are covered to help make some space to enjoy some delicious coffee! A Chicago classic!

If they still have space they have a day camp from 9-12:00 or a sports camp from 12:30 to 3
Paid parking on Southport is usually packed. Its easier to park on residential street a block or two away. Watch out for Cubs game signs. Parking hours are different on those days
