Scheduled a pick up weeks in advanced. Has the stuff out on my drive way by 7:30 am. They never showed, never called. Why bother offering pick up services if you never follow through.

Yes, they came to pick up all of my donations (about 10 boxes), from the Midway area. I really appreciate it! I will call if I have other donations.

Once again, my pick up was missed. I scheduled in advance for Friday the 15th, received the confirmation postcard, filled my porch with carefully marked items and even called AmVets mid-day of the scheduled pickup to confirm they would be there. They never showed up. Now it's Saturday and they are closed and the line hung up on ME before I could leave the message they instructed me to leave. I'm stuck with a porch full of donations and dread the time it will take to bring things back in the house not to mention finding a place to put them (and it is Easter weekend to boot). As this is my second experience with a missed pick-up, sadly, I will not waste my time or energy with trying to donate to AmVets again.
