I gave one star is because when I’m offsite and I’m not there at work so I asked simply questioned about shift and time card and anything else I ask about my concern sooo I asked them I want to make sure understand and clearly about time I got start clock in and clock out have two different shift schedule Friday and Saturday so they won’t response as chime and email as well while offsite I don’t know why they not do their job so employee don’t want to drive alll the way to amazon waste of gas and they don’t compensate you at alll…. Managers and HR made lot of excuses nobody want to hear about “excuse” that’s what I’m so tired of ppl make excuse because Managers and HR want you to come and on-site so they only will response with your questions or concern they can help with but if you’re offsite they refused response…

The closest now is either Harlem and 183rd street on the pace 386 bus or Lincoln highway (211th st) and Cicero on the pace Lincoln hwy bus I heard they are supposed to extend a bus so it can go to this facility.

They put out shifts (days and hours) on our app then you choose from the list which ones you want to work. You don't get to make up your own.

Background check can take up to 2 weeks but it's usually quicker from my experience. Drug test within 72 hours (about 48 hours I got mine) usually you'll know if you pass or fail. Once you do the drug test tho it's good for 6 months!
You don't get to pick your position. You apply and they put you where they need you most. Probably pick/pack. You'll have to internally transfer to another department in 30 days if you don't like your current department. Source: work at Amazon.

When you go to search locations search Illinois.. you'll see Matteson on that list if they are currently hiring. Check back daily if you don't see the location on the list as they ad job postings for locations daily. My advice is if you have an account set up check the job postings daily. The positions full up quickly.
