What can I say.... Phil is a terrific luthier and a nice guy too I bought a guild f-2512e 12 string acoustic and when I took it out of the box it was so unplayable it was obvious it needed a luthier's attention and a good setup. So I brought it to Phil and he did the work on it changed the strings adjusted nut and saddle made it sound terrific and with my style of playing I really whale down on the guitar and I lay into it so there was a little fret buzz so I brought it right back to him and he was more than happy to sit and adjust it while I played for him and till we got it right and it was perfect and it sounds great and I'll definitely be bringing my other guitars to Phil and I recommend him highly Thank Phil

I have an Epiphone Casino that's a couple of years old. Got much more into acoustic stuff I didn't play it for a few years. I noticed a few cracks had developed around the nut. I asked a couple of friends and they said it should be fine, but to get it checked out by a professional. I called ahead and asked about it, the guy on the phone ( I never got his name unfortunately) was very nice and said it should be fine. I asked if I could bring it by so he could look at it in person, and he said that would be fine. I brought it on by, and he looked it over. Assured me it was not a serious issue, and said if for whatever reason it gets worse, bring it back and he'll take another look at it. The store itself was small, but full of character and stocked with a lot of accessories. It felt good to get some assurance that my guitar is okay. Will definitely be going back if I need any repair work or an emergency set of strings!

I bought to Phil a new limited edition two tone thin line telecaster. The low E string was to close to the edge of the fretboard and the guitar was fretting out in the higher registers. Phil straighten the neck and installed a shim to keep it that way and spaced the strings out perfectly by cutting the saddle. The fret level done completely removed all the fretting out. The guitar now has a rock solid feel to it and bending strings now sounds perfect. Thanks Phil for making this my go to guitar.

There is a reason that D'Angelo Guitars has perfect reviews. Phil goes above and beyond. In my case, I was unhappy with something and Phil actually contacted me personally to make it right. Do not hesitate to let the store know if something is not quite right. They aim to please and they do stellar work. Highly recommended!

Hi William. I believe the guitar you are referring to is a D'Angelico, not D'Angelo. We are not one in the same company. I would refer you to that company for any information regarding your wife's father's guitar. All the best.
Hi Joshua. Unfortunatley I don't have a local source for refinishing work. Sorry I couldn't help.
Hi Mike. No, I was never part of Regent and don't know anything about it. We're primarily a Repair/build shop and do just about everything but refinishing. If we can be of service in that capacity come give us a visit. Best, Phil D'Angelo D'Angelo Guitars (201) 995-3013
