I ordered a gluten free pizza because I have a severe gluten sensitivity that causes me to experience nausea, migraines, and flu-like symptoms for 8-10 hours. When I received the gluten free pizza, I was surprised to find breaded eggplant on top of the pizza. I called in to see if the breadcrumbs were gluten free, and was told they were not. I explained that I had first tried to take the pieces off but that the breadcrumbs were melted into the cheese and that I wouldn’t be able to separate it and eat it without having a reaction and asked for a new pizza. I was told by the person on the phone that, although I had requested a gluten free pizza for my allergies, it was somehow MY responsibility to confirm that they would not put gluten on top of my gluten free pizza. I personally think it’s common sense that if someone requests a meal without an allergen, you would not proceed to put that allergen on top. After explaining this to the gentleman, he hung up on me. The negligence is ridiculous. If I had celiacs and didn’t notice, I could have died. Thankfully my allergy isn’t THAT severe and I DID notice. But I still had to pay for a dinner that I don’t get to eat. Plus I’m tired and it’s late and I’m left to figure out something else to eat when the whole reason I paid for pizza anyway was because I didn’t want to cook! If you don’t have an allergy and they do actually get your order right, then I’m sure you’ll enjoy your experience because the pizza looks delicious. But again that’s an assumption, since I can’t actually eat it 🤷🏻♀️

Have enjoyed many good pies from Frank's and as others have said, the owner and staff are super friendly. I'd give a 5 but both times we used delivery instead of normal pickup the pizza arrived cold and stale. I live less than a mile from Frank's. Pizza should not arrive cold and stale, especially considering the service fees and 25% tip I put on top. By the way if the management would like to check on what happened with the delivery, the pie was supposed to be delivered at 6:15 and maybe in fact it did leave the restaurant in time to roughly make it by 6:15. I checked my camera and it was delivered at 6:36. So maybe it left the restaurant fresh and hot like it should and it took the driver over 20 minutes to get to my house. I understand I am not the only delivery order in town at prime time dinner hour but maybe this offers a clue. Having the pizza delivered a little late does not bother me but having it delivered cold and stale definitely does.

Big fan of Frank’s! All of their classic one topping pizzas are awesome. I also like their fries and garlic knots. One of the better places in the area. Underrated dessert too. Lastly, they’re always kind.

The delivery showed up very quickly, so I’ll give them that. Aside from that, the pizza was terrible. I haven’t found great pizza since I moved up here a few months ago, but this is the worst so far. The crust was way too soft and doughy; no crisp at all. There was barely any sauce also. It looked like a NY style pizza but the taste and texture were way off.

I believe they do. When I was there recently, even though it was late, I remember a delivery person coming back in.
