This must be the poorest motel in existence, please stay away from here only the price is up to date everything else is garbage. Abandon property almost all around, super bad smell in the room and the best is: you have to pay up front before you see the room. We had sheets and pillow cases with us and I’m glad we did because theirs had stains all over . We ran out and purchased candles to get rid of the bad odor. One room 2 guest but only one towel :)) Absolutely horrible experience never again.

We've stayed here before and don't expect luxury but we were not very thrilled with this last stay. We were definitely the only ones there (which was nice) but the room felt like it was last minute cleaned. The towels and sheets were scratchy, the blinds in the bathroom were missing a few pieces letting anyone see in and the exterior walkways were chipping apart everywhere.

This is one man operation hotel….I can limit good comments to working AC unit, refrigerator and microwave in the room. The rest of our experience was not so pleasant. The room had an awful stale smell, we had to leave the doors open for a long time to air it out. The open door also helped to let out multiple flies residing in the room before us. We had doubts that the sheets were changed because we found someone else’s hair on our pillowcases. The blankets had cigarette-burned holes in them. The electrical outlets were missing covers. The paint on the bathroom ceiling was coming down in a huge bubble, it did not feel safe to use the shower under it. Waste baskets did not have any liner in them, but did have the remains of previous guests’ garbage. Included in the price free breakfast consisted of a bagel and was not so easy to get: the manager responsible for serving breakfast was sleeping through his job hours every morning. During three days we stayed the hotel staff never attempted to service the room or at least to remove the garbage or change the towels. There was nobody at front desk most of day and night hours. Even checking out was quite complicated because the manager was difficult to find, we had to call him and wait for about 40 minutes till he came to help us. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Renaissance Fair grounds, not because it was the cheapest offer. For the price of $123 per night much better service should be expected and provided.

Great place to stay. The owner and staff were very nice and accommodating. The restaurant/diner across the street has great food and was so convenient. We were in town for the spartan race and our wedding and the location of this motel was perfect. I wish we had stayed here in previous years to avoid the hassle of a long drive on race day. Will stay here again for future races/events
