Great trail. Fair amount of shade and mostly quiet. Like most bike trails you will cross a few roads, but most are easy to cross. Unlike most most bike trails the section we rode (Hwy 10 trailhead to Bowlus), crosses several wooden bridges. Picturesque although the bridges are pretty bumpy. One bridge is long and passes by the dam. Interesting sight. There are mileage markers on the trail. The Highway 10 trailhead is very well marked on Hwy 10. The Bowles trailhead is a very pretty little park. Highly recommend

No one is out there. Bridges need to be posted assessment dated... No garbage cans at entrance/exits. Snowmobiling apparently rules the cold season. Should be an appreciation _ activity info board at trail entrants. Absolute no leaning policy.

Nice place to ride from the trail head going east. Restrooms and restaurants along the way. Peaceful place to ride and enjoy nature and a cold beverage. The first 20 miles are straight and flat. Then once you pass Onamia the offroad trails start. Red Top and Solana Loop are the best.

I'm not to sure what there like. Maybe check with the DNR and see if they know.
Ask the state
Soo Line Recreational Trail portion is non motorized. That portion does not allow any motorized vehicles otherwise the rest does.
They allow camping in bowlus, but it's just a city park. There is a water source and bathroom. Holdingford also has camping, but I don't know the details.
Ya, like she said , after 10 I think... we go up to Onamia & hit trail on atv. & ride with SxS also. Always a good day to hit the trails up that way.
