We've passed this place at least a hundred times over the years and finally stopped in to check it out. We heard they have really good seafood soups. Once you enter it looks like a small fish market. You can buy seafood to take home. We were there to dine in. The staff was friendly, but our server was very busy with several large tables and I'm assuming due to that small things were forgotten. Example, we asked for drink refills when he had a chance and one of the kids never got one. We shared, no biggie. Prices were about what you'd expect. Sodas were a little high at $3.99 each. Food came out quickly and hot. We noticed we were the only table that wasn't asked about dessert, just if we wanted our bill. Tip was included on our bill, I'm assuming because there was 6 of us - 2 adults, our 3 children and grandson, but wasn't posted anywhere. I personally don't have a problem with that as we always take care of our servers, but I've read other reviews where people like to know this ahead of time. Overall it was a nice place to eat. We did like the soup. It was filled with large pieces of crab and I'm sure we'll stop in again.

This is a classic seadood place. The seafood on display in the market area looks fresh and clean. No fishy smell! The food is delicious! We ordered the broiled seafood platter and the seafood was prepared well. I love scallops and rhese were sweet and soft. I tried carrot souffle for the first time and was happy with the choice. It had some carrot taste, but reminded me of sweet potatoes. It had a brown sugar and nuts mixed into it and I would choose it again for a side dish. I knew I liked their potato salad, perfect crunch of celery, and some light onion . The potatoes were cooked to be soft, but not mushy. We don't live in the area, or we would eat here every week. We drove an extra 2 hours out of our way to stop and eat here because it is so good.

We come to this place whenever we’re driving from PA to Delaware. They serve seafood but the quality has gone down this year. our thoughts on some of the menu items based on our experience: Shrimp po boy sandwich - used to be so fresh and delicious. It wasn’t as tasty and the fried shrimps were chewy this time Come slaw - fresh and very tasty French fries - hit or miss depending on the day Crab soup - avoid - did not taste as fresh and it had an after taste Broiled flounder and salmon - too much paprika on it - overall bland taste Green beans - slightly undercooked but relatively OK Also - if you want tap water it’s 0,25cents per cup.

Yes and try it with thier cajun seasoning. So good. Cant go wrong with anything here tho.
Have not had it but everything I have had at Medings has been wonderful.
Yes
Yes, and they have also installed plexiglass between booths along the wall inside. Not the tables in the middle, just against the walls
