Welfare Square is a great place to learn more about what this Christian church is doing to further humanitarian efforts and help those in the community. It is run principally by volunteers and has helped millions of people. Their manufacturing processes are quite fascinating as well!

It is open to the public but through a referral process. So you don't have to be a member of the church to either recieve food from the Bishop's Storehouse or work there. You need a referral from the bishop in the area where you reside. On this site are quick links, https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/?lang=eng, click on the link "Find a Meetinghouse". Put in your address and it'll give you the name of a bishop for that area and contact info.

Riverton Ut. North Stake calendar shows a welfare assignment for 20 June, this Thursday, for Riverton 8th ward, 3 people 9:00 am to 12:00 and 2 people 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. My question is, is the cannery open and operating on June 20th?
