Absolutely amazing local theatre with a fascinating history. I've seen multiple shows from them and it never disappoints. Everything from the production itself to the people who work the food stands are amazing. They often work with local artists/restaurants/actors. If you've never been to a theatrical production but looking for something fun, I highly reccommend this place. They do a variety of shows so there's something for everyone here!

The Croswell is a wonderful venue for community theater. Many of the performers I admire the most perform here when they can.

We recently changed our youth rate -- it is now available for anyone under 18. (There was still old info on one page of our website -- it's fixed now.)

Hi, Beverly. I'm sorry to report that Mr. Soller passed away in 2012. He remained involved at the Croswell, directing and designing, until just a few years before his death. Many of the people involved now were students of his.
You can find our audition schedule here: https://croswell.org/auditions 12 is a little on the young side for "Peter and the Starcatcher," which we listed as starting at 14, but a 12-year-old would still be welcome to audition -- it's not uncommon for somebody to audition for a show that is a little out of their age range, just to get the experience. The next show that will have parts for actors of all ages is "Miracle on 34th Street" ... auditions for that are not scheduled yet but they will be in late summer or early fall.
I believe so, call the box office.
Sure if
There is a parkinglot behind the Croswell on Toledo Street. They also typically use the Adrian Farmers Market parkinglot during big shows and events.
The Lenawee County Fair parade will take place on July 21 this year, the same day as the final performance of "Violet."
Good question. I b e l i e v e they are listed in the program... I know after the show, while they are in the pit, the audience wouldn't be able to see them at all...
The box office opens 90 minutes before a show, but we do not open the theater and begin seating until 30 minutes before curtain.
Call or go there
