Fantastic experience. I am a beginner and bought a OB1 online and brought it in when I was in town for work so they could make sure I was doing everything right with it in terms of tuning, rosin application, etc. Brenda greeted me at the door. She examined by violin and corrected me a on few things right on the spot. She also gave me a tour of the workshop. A really cool experience to see where they set them up, shoot videos, etc. A lot of fun. Highly recommend Fiddlershop.

Great experience for my wife and myself. We were taken care of by Roger and he was very friendly and helpful. I'll surely recommend the Fiddlershop to all my musician friends.

Very nice with great service and instruments! Brenda was wonderful in how she gave me directions to get there when I had gotten lost. I bought the violin that I needed! Thank you to all at the shop!

We're requiring appointments. We ask that our customers try to call ahead, though we do handle walk-ins as they come. Masks are mandatory and customers are only allowed in the showroom and testing-room area (we are not doing any tours of the office/warehouse/workshop spaces). We also provide masks for those who forgets to bring one, and we have automated hand-sanitizing machines throughout the building.
We sell all tools neccessary to install and adjust the sound post. Please find this link to our page for workshop tools: https://fiddlershop.com/collections/workshop-tools We also have a fully equipped Luthier Workshop at our premises in Pompano Beach, Florida, that can assist you with any Luthier needs.
It all really depends on how far you are in your learning. They have a few beginner sets around $100-$200.However, I would recommend looking into their own fiddlerman violin brand, personally I have a fiddlerman artist violin outfit which includes everything you need to start playing for $500, they also have more expensive ones, the master and solo violin, and they also have some cheaper ones for $300 full outfit.
We provide consignment services on a case-by-case basis. Give us a call, our bring your violin to our showroom in and we can walk you though the process.
At this time we unfortunatly do not sell Electric Guitars. We specialize in Bowed String Instruments such as Violins, Violas, Cellos and Basses. However, we recently added Guitars (Classical, Acoustic, and Acoustic-Electric), Ukuleles, Mandolis, and Banjos to our offering. Our Luither Workshop is also equipped to handle any Musical Instrument repairs.
