I've lived here for just over 4 years. I hear a lot of my neighbors complain that rent is raising however I think its fair. EVERYTHING is raising look at your local food stores so they are not doing what they don't need to. If you can not hack it then MOVE OUT!!! THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE...…. The building across from me still has a flashing light now sense the beginning of August. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

I seriously would choose ZERO stars if that was an option. I moved into my apartment in November 2019, with my elderly parents. I was their caregiver. My dad died in February 2020. When it came time to renew our lease they upped our rent. Then came back and said, oh sorry that was a typo, you’re going to have to sign another lease for more money. Mom and I signed that lease. Then a day later they came back again and said they “forgot” to include our garage rent and increased our rent by another $75 and made us sign another lease. Six months later the manager, Nancy, sent my mother an email saying she hadn’t been paying her garage rent and was going to back bill her $75 a month, and increase our rent by ANOTHER $75. I sent her an email explaining that we were sent a second lease to re-sign to include our garage rent and I included the emailed proof. She had the audacity to try and challenge it. She sent me an email saying that most tenants believe they’re paying garage rent with their lease but it’s a separate contract. Again, here’s the email Nancy where you increased my rent by $75 to include my garage rent. I talked to my neighbor, Jessie, and she said their rent stayed the same because of COVID. Then the office termed our lease a month early. I called and asked for them to send a copy of our lease so I could apply for government assistance to help with funds. My mom was in the hospital dying. They sent a 1 month lease and charged me a $475 deposit for the apartment I was already living in, while accepting government funds. Then they charged me another $200 “transfer fee” to secure the 3 bed 2 bath apartment for $1600 a month that we requested because my niece was moving in to help me take care of my mom. Once my mom died, they came back and said sorry you can’t transfer. And now they sent a lease for another $500 deposit and want to charge us $1600-$2000 depending on how many months we choose for the same 2 bed 1 bath apartment that I was paying $1088 for just a month ago. And there’s so much more. This place needs new management.

Living at Thorneberry Atrium since 2014 has been for the most part a enjoyable experience. The previous manager, Val, was friendly and attended to emergency situations like leaks, etc. immediately. However I moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom apartment on June 1, 2020. The dishwasher wasn't working, it doesn't drain, and is still not repaired or replaced, though I was assured several times that it was ordered. I asked our new manager, Samantha, to please attend to the dishwasher, she also assured me that a new dishwasher was ordered. She gave me the the phone number for Triton Investments, the General Managers or Owners of Thorneberry Atrium Senior Apartments. The woman that answered the phone assured me again that the dishwasher was ordered from "Ferguson's." This time the process has been approximately ten days. So I'm waiting again for the dishwasher, in hopes that I haven't been manipulated again, it's been 15 months. My hands get sore, and fingernails are cracked from the hot water. Also, hand washing dishes requires possibly 3 - 4 times as much water. Yours truly, Delores Jenkins Thorneberry Atrium Senior Apartments

Nice place to live. Good place, responsive staff. The apartments are good, just a few minor inconveniences. Toilets need multiple flushes. The master bathroom is small in the 3 bedroom.
