Stayed for 1 night and overall good experience. No housekeeping was offered. I didn't ask why but undoubtedly they'd use the COVID excuse. Hotel bar wasn't open at night which was disappointing. No type of continental breakfast offered. Only a block from downtown so plenty of eating and drinking establishments close by. Nice hotel, just has some downfalls.

Elevators are rickety sounding and has broken tiles. The room looked clean, but the bathroom is disgusting. I wasn't going to leave a bad review until I went down to the desk to ask for cleaning supplies to clean it myself and was told to wait until the next day.

Great friendly staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice to walk to restaurants and downtown shops.

Since there aren't many choices of hotel in town, Marriott got my money for an overpriced three night stay. They won I lost. Real basic hotel how hard is it to get a room cleaning, coffee in the AM, and a working TV.....? Well...this Marriott missed a REAL low bar ..they said they offered free coffee in the AM. not true ..the tv remote broke on repeated occasions...So bottom line. If you have business in DeLand and want the convenience of location, then stay here. Otherwise, it's over priced with the senior rate.
