We recently used Zion Outfitters for one of our couples traveling to Zion! They absolutely loved the E-Bikes and said it was probably the most fun they had on their trip! They were able to do everything at their leisure and they really enjoyed that this was perfect "quality time" for them. Zion Outfitters was very easy to work with and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for adventure!

so part of this is my fault because i wasn't insistent on two things quality and service. the shoes i got didn't velcro and they were not a good fit overall for my foot. we were also told that the pants wouldn't be necessary and this texan with chronic pain begs to differ! the pants would have been useful. ended up not going on the hike because of not having the proper gear. hopefully next time someone can help to make sure we are set up for success. im definitely going to do more and better research to set myself up for a better hike next time, but help from the people who probably hike these trails a lot would have been dope. but in a way it was like making a donation, because we paid for the gear we didn't use so less clean work for them. silver lining i guess.

Narrows and park gear rentals, gift shop, etc. Every employee we encountered was very nice and helpful. Easy to rent boots, socks, and poles right at the entrance for only 2-3 dollars more than back in town and hauling it in.

Easy gear spot for the Narrows. Sandals? Nope. Barefoot? Just turn around. You’d be nuts to do the river hike without waterproof boots with ankle support. Yep, you’ll appreciate the stick they include with the rental. Kind staff had solid recs for other hikes.

It is doable. The road is pretty flat from the lodge. Lots of people use the ebikes. A little far if you ha e little ones tagging along with you.
Yes, there a locker
You can rent canyoneering boots and neoprene socks from ZO, they're probably the bare minimum you'd want for an enjoyable hike. I'd recommend at least getting the dry pants package, as there are several sections of the hike that are at least thigh-deep on someone of average height. You can pick up rented gear either the day before (4-7pm for reservations) or put on the gear outside the store, then walk across the bridge (park pass required) to the visitors center and get the shuttle out to the Temple of Sinuwava. Visitors center parking fills up early in the day so go early. There is about a 1 mile walk before you get to the water part of the narrows so you could theoretically carry the gear and put it on when you get to the water, but then you'd have to carry your other gear so I wouldn't recommend that approach.
Sure
Barriers at the checkout, sanitizer and masks provided.
When we went on a Saturday at 8am, there was already a long line but most people were getting gear for the Narrows. I'd still suggest going close to open if you're going on a weekend.
Not this season. The river is too low.
It's $1 if you book through the reservation.gov website. You could try to get on the fcfs line after 3 pm for a chance to a free pass
Sorry, no e-bikes at zion outfitters
At this point researching what I can online I do not have Maps or guide in front of me to list definite hikes I would do
It looks as though there will be a tubing season this year. We are not sure what the dates will look like at this time as we are dependant on the river flow. We will either have rentals if the river is optimal or we will have affordable tubes for sale if it is hit and miss. Thank you!
Yes, they have lots of weather options for shoes and clothing
Yes they rent the water shoes and pants for the hike up the narrows.
