This is my local AMC theater, and as a Stubs member, I frequently visit. The last time I visited though, I had tickets for a 9:00 PM show. I showed up at about 9:10 PM as I don't like sitting through previews I've already seen. The doors at the entrance were locked and when someone came to open them, they told me they were closed. I said I bought a ticket to a 9:00 PM movie. They let me in, much to their chagrin, and I asked if I could purchase concessions–they told me no. I asked why not and they told me they'd already closed all the registers. I was so frustrated at this point that I'd just left. I'd recommend allowing your customers up to 30 minutes after a showtime begins to enter the theater and buy concessions. I've been taking the extra 15 minutes to drive to the Huntington Square Dine-In location ever since. It's a much nicer theater anyway.

this amc has not many screens, and not many seats, because they offer reclined seats. i am a big fan of reclined seats, but i am not satisfied all reclined seats theater. most of the reason is the screen setting position. this amc set their screen in the middle and the screen is big enough, another thing i have to emphasize, the screen is curve. so if you sitting on the side it won't be a problem. i recommend the rear rows if you can pick. because this theater locates at long island, most of people will drive there, but they only have some park spaces. there is a large parking lot around the post office, which it is one min driving far from the theater. And you can park on the post office parking lot on weekend.
