Boil water advisory for my area and there is no notice in their website that this is the case. Called and spoke with supervisor who said that this is unacceptable and the website would be updated immediately. It's 2 days later and the website is still not updated. Houses get notified by letter and people who live in apartments have to wait till next business day when the property manager gets the notice. When boil water advisory goes out on a Friday night, people in apartment complexes do not get notified till Monday when the rental office opens. Days have gone by and we are using the contaminated water because they can't at the very least update the website to let us know.

How it's a possible that this people work 8 hrs a week, it's a really a shame the community needs more attention it's a shame that we pay all that s taxes for nothing

Easily the absolute worst utility I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with! They have a completely antiquated way of setting up and canceling water service. Canceling water service is a headache with the need to fill out unnecessary forms and determine final billing. Not to mention how staff in the office can't explain anything just to make this process as confusing as possible. Call any other water utility and you can quickly start or stop service in less than 5 minutes. Call LBCJMA and expect to waste half a day figuring out what silly forms you have to fill out to start or stop service, as well as cancel automatic payments. Glad to be away from this utility.
