Very easy. Just drive up and wait till your turn. They open the trunk and take whatever electronics you have for them in the back and then they close the trunk. Doesn't get any easier than that! Highly recommend instead of putting them in the trash

It’s a great service for those of us living in berks county, I can’t thank the county enough for providing it. The younger gentleman working Saturday mornings is great, old guy was a jerk. Stopped per signage and waited for attendant. First time going here I was under the assumption I was to back up as at other sites; he came over and pointed at the sign and gave me trouble

I had never been there before. Quick and so easy! I didn't have to get out of my vehicle. How often do you get that kind of quick service? Never. I thought it would be a hassle. No easy.

This is a great benefit for Berks county residents! Upon arrival you may stay in your vehicle and staff will remove the electronics for you. Staff were quick and courteous (they wore masks too). Highly recommend!

When you say old style light bulbs. I assume you are referring to incandescent light bulbs. No, we do not accept them. They would just be put out for your regular trash collection. We do accept the CFL light bulbs.

We only accept rechargeable batteries, no alkaline batteries are accept. Alkaline batteries are considered municipal waste and can be disposed of with your regular trash collection. There are a few companies that will accept alkaline batteries for recycling if you order a recycle kit. The kits cost about $40 per kit.

Yes, we do have four (4) bins there for clothing. Two blue bins and two yellow bins. All of the containers are labeled for what should be put in each container. That part of the recycling center is open 24/7 and is under video surveillance.
