I am here now. Not happy. Property Management is here (sometimes) at that is about it, their regular daily guy onsite is nice but inconsiderate of detail and noise. I read an earlier review that stated the lobby floor being washed and not dried. This is my experience and to add ... Lysol that was so strong that I had to hold the lobby door open to breathe until the elevator showed up to the 1st floor (see attached pictures). The get into the elevator, no Lysol stench but soaked with water on a new placed vinyl floor. With so much to do and detail around here I see it odd that the maintenance guy would blow out the parking lot when there are is no real landscaping or trees to dump leaves. Once you get passed the nice looking lobby, gym and party rooms the building upgrades stop. Old infrastructure, needs upgrades, need repairs, needs better maintenance, better management. At almost $800.00 month HOA/Condo management fees and 72 units (I think) you would think the condition and upkeep of this building would be better. Bottom line .... you might want to look somewhere else.

Sea Gulls Condos in Islamorada is a beautiful oceanfront condo complex. It is convenient to restaurants, shopping, groceries and more. The fact that you can do weekly rentals (7 day minimum) allows you to use it as an investment property also. The beachfront pool, kayak storage and launch, workout facility and the beautiful new lobby entrance and community room, make this a great option to visit and stay or to own.

Nice location pool and beach. THAT IS IT! Older building trying to be nice but no! There is a onsite grounds keeper. Washes the same things everyday even if it’s not dirty. However he sprays cleaner on the entrance floor and in the elevator and as you step in....we almost fell. He said I guess I need to wipe it up. Our unit was old needed paint and had bugs. And every morning and night one of the tenants would light up his pipe of pot and the fumes were horrible. The on-site manager acted like she was a cop and refuted all our concerns. The unit next to ours had a “renter” sign in the window....ours did not. We assume the city requires this. MAKE SURE YOU READ EVERYTHING AND MAKE SURE THE OWNER IS NOT SHOWING YOU A KITCHEN FROM APT A AND THE LIVING AREA FROM ANOTHER.
