Great collection for it's small size. Very friendly staff. Would rank higher except the library refuses to hire men. Curiously, men have been locked out of the restroom in the past and made to ask for a key while women had no such procedure. Library also pushes lgbtq agenda with it's young adult collection, so beware, if you are uncomfortable with that. The building is a neat historical Carnegie library with an unfortunate 80's addition that leaks. Books are frequently stolen as library lacks security. These things are probably the city's fault but contribute to the library's problems. With the library's ability to loan ebooks, the city really should close the library in favor of online lending and use the historical library as a museum.

Questions & Answers

i have a library card but want to access books online and the card doesn’t have a number to do so. where can i get it?

I use Libby for my online books. The barcode on the back is your account number. You need a pin. If it is not the last 4 digits of your phone number, you can call the library to get a new one or go to their website to get a new on. If your account is expired you have to call the library.

To borrow books or other items you must have a current library card. Library cards are free for the following groups: 1-Individuals who live in Brigham City. 2-Individuals who own property in Brigham City. 3-Brigham City employees. 4-Faculty/staff/students of a Box Elder School District school located in Brigham City. All others may purchase a card for 3, 6, or 12 months at a time (prices are currently $20, $35, or $60 respectively). This fee covers all members in the household.
