A great place to have a picnic, do some fishing, snorkel, kayak or paddle board. Lots of bait around too. Sadly, the boat ramp is not open for launching your boat but can be used for kayaks or paddle boards. Be aware of boats and jet skis running too fast through the creek. While they should be operating on a safe manner, they usually don't. Wish it were no wake zone before someone gets hurt.

Yes, I believe it was. A beautiful location together with a beautiful soundtrack made the scene epic. They used an instrumental version of Audioslave - "Shape of things to come" (search Youtube for "miami vice ost - a forgotten track"). Apparently the old house was removed some years back. It seems the property is now used for some kayaking. I used quite some time to find it. Enjoy.
