They take quiet a long time to respond with a insurance claim , when filing for one , its been more than 1 month on a claim and they still can send benefecary funds yet.

My investment agent sent in a request and talked on the phone with a Sentinel agent to confirm the amount of interest to be paid on the annuity and the terms of the annuity. I called my agent before and just after the annuity renewed to make sure all went well and the paperwork that was processed correctly. Now nearly 2 months after that time the new annuity is in place. THe first letter from Sentinel only had my new interest rate. I just received another letter well after the new annuity went into place and the policy has now magically changed. I called and finally after insisting an agent pulled up the contract and admitted that it wasn't processed correctly, but that it would take some time to reprocess it and that my interest rate would go down 25% from my original letter. I complained and they then said they would lower my interest less. I would be very careful to do business with a company that operates in this manner. Annuities can be tricky but when a company blatantly lies about what the terms of the annuity initially are then you have been taken and really have no where to go. I will be calling the federal trades commission.

I just purchased a FIA Product at 4.05% Annual Rate. I checked Diligently with over a Dozen Top Finanancial and Investment Agencies for an FIA that would return an Annual Rate at 4 or more % howevet, all but one agency Informed that such a product existed and I purchased this 4.05 % FIA Product through Sentinel Security Insurance Co. and am very Happy with Sentinel making ghost Product avaliable.for me.
