I hiked up to help celebrate the 100th Year Anniversary. Climbed the tower and with the experience of Bob learned the names of almost everything visible from the top of the tower! Awesome experience..... take your kids!

You can always climb to the bottom of the canopy sometimes Bob will let younger children into the tower and give them souviners .
There are a couple of spots along the road. It's a mile hike to the tower.
