They closed for the summer for renovations and I was really excited to see what they'd do with the place. It still feels different from before but I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's completely finished. 4 stars because I still like the food and coffee even if it is slightly expensive. Edited after response from the owners :)

Reopening after closed for about 3 months. Very clean, new furniture, fresh paint on all areas, cooking area is behind a new wall. The counter was moved, along with the food case. New lighting so the sitdown area is no longer dingy.

Food and drinks are top of the line. Honestly, they’ve ruined me because I can’t go to another coffee shop without comparing to Folklore’s amazing menu. The staff are always talkative and kind. Unique story tale theme and relaxing atmosphere.

They have many breakfast options, even if you don't like what's on the menu, you can always ask, and they'll will make pretty much whatever you ask them too. They have combinations of egg, bacon, sausage, ham, cheese as choices for breakfast sandwiches/wraps
