This place has that nice old school theatre esthetic which is why I chose to go here so that my little can experience the type of theater we went to growing up. It wasn’t a good experience for me though as one of the young workers was very rude. Upon walking in I showed him my tickets and my daughter walked over to see the skeleton in the window, instead of talking to the parents and saying make sure she doesn’t touch it it’s very expensive he directed it to my child and continued on and on on her not touching this “$2000” skeleton. I told him we got it, she never touched it just wanted to look at it and again he stated how “expensive” it was. We proceeded to go watch the movie and when I came out to see what type of snacks they had I was met again with hostility from this kid as he asked me “is there a problem?” I informed him that I was just looking for a snack and I think he realized I wasn’t going to back down at this point because of my tone and he stated “oh we have to ask that”. I said yes but not in that manner and the correct way to say it is can I help you with something. When our movie finished my daughter wanted an icecream and a tall African American kid helped us. Who was kinder but this other kid came around to witness the transaction as if we were giving fake money or something I couldn’t even be sure at that point what his issue was. All in all I will not go back here. I felt they should have been thankful that we chose their theater as we were the only ones in that whole place. The owners to this place needs to find new staff before they tank what’s left of this pace

I love the look of the old school movie theater. Came here on a Sunday with my family to watch Lyle crocodile. My family comes in shades from dark to light and unfortunately I think that may be the reason the young curly haired employee was not very welcoming. The employee addressed my 9 year old child instead of differing to us. Wy wife came out to buy candy and he asked her is there a problem rather than how can I help you. Get your attitude corrected young man we are helping your business and if you don’t like your job figure it out. People are out here to have a good time and you nearly ruined it.

This move theater has been here for the longest I came here to P. A. East Stroudsburg back in 1992 with my family so my daughter would have a safer school life coming from N. Y.. so we went to the theater to take a look around and it was good it brought back memories and we decided to get the 50.00 a year membership to get all the discounts so come out take a look around you can also rent out have parties big or small call them you'll be happy you did.

Hi MaryAnn, Our current system only has hearing assistance. We ordered a new system that will include closed captioning devices; however, everything is backordered, and we still do not have a date for when the new system will be delivered.
Hi Annette, We are in the process of switching point of sale systems, so we don’t currently offer online ticketing. We will start selling tickets online very soon.
Whatever is normally out in theaters at the time you want to go.
