Lots to be desired

I have been a resident of Covered Bridge since 2016 and have had nothing but issues and great displeasure with the board and HOA. I, along with ten other neighbors, suffered the loss of my vehicle due to flooding caused by improper drainage and overflowing sewers. On two separate occasions, flooding has caused the loss of MULTIPLE expensive vehicles. The last incident occurred this September 2021, and resulted not only in my vehicle being totaled, but countless neighbors as well. Covered bridge refuses to take responsibility or even return phone calls! I was even told that my insurance should have covered it, meanwhile after insurance i still owe 2,000 and am left without a vehicle now. As a disabled former federal agent, it is incredibly disappointing that this is how Covered Bridge chooses to handle this situation. I would not recommend living in this development. The fees are excessive and provide next to nothing. I am sorry that I ever bought a unit here, thinking that I finally found a place to live out my retirement in peace. I got just the opposite and everyday has been becoming more of a headache and I am more than fed up. There is no viable reason why I haven’t gotten a call back since September! When I do call, the receptionist brushes me off with an attitude. Would you want to live here?

Went for a made on Monmouth vendors fair, it was a good location as it's right on rt. 9, the variety of merchandise and the quality was very good. Recommended for finding that special gift.

This is a very nice development. Quiet very park like and lots of space to walk and roam. The only problem is the trustees that TRY to run it. They do not want to hire a qualified business professional to run the place with a property management background. They discriminate against anyone not in their click. Anyone reading this that lives in Covered Bridge should insist they hold board meeting open to all so we all know what’s going on. They have not taken care of any office business since COVID as if the world just stop rotating. Not one hand sanitizer dispenser on the property not even by the club house door. Schools are holding classes via zoom and they need to start using it. What the heck let’s get these people off the board and insist on elections. No board president should be in control for five years with no rotation. And they keep out a professional manager so not many people will want to be trustees. A trustee should be over site not management. Let’s get this changed now!
