The expression don't judge a book by its cover does not apply to this building. At Summit NYC, what you see is what you get. The building is clean and beautiful. And as expected, the amenities are top-notch. The building has everything you need and more. I had a great experience with Summit NYC's leasing office; Matthew was welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, creative, patient and transparent. He went above and beyond when it came to giving me tours (both in-person and virtual) and working with me to select the unit that was best for me. Everything went seamlessly on move-in day with many thanks to Miguel and Carlo for their warm welcome and Briant for all of his assistance.

The following review is my opinion based on my 3 year lease period at 222 east 44 sstreet Summit building. let me start off by saying i am an orthopedic surgeon, first responder during covid and 9-111. after complaining about dirty water, they decided not to renew my lease in such a disrespectful fashion it is a disgrace. Brown water comes out of the sink all the time which matches the brown toilet water.... I have complained numerous times and the response is....we have tested the water and it is safe to drink. You can tell me it is safe to drink but I am not drinking brown water.....sorry. I have resorted to buying and drinking bottled water. Also management could use a lesson on professionalism. There are no light fixtures....so bring your stand up lamps from college....you are going tto need them....also make sure not to wear shoes inside...the floors are the cheapest wood veneer and they scratch so easy. Paul Howard the managing agent is unprofessional. From my picture attached you can see how dirty the bottom of my Brita water filter is. They supposedly “tested” the water and it is safe to drink….. I am a doctor and i can assure you, I won’t drink brown water and i wouldn’t recommend it.

Best building ever! I moved here a few months ago and I’m so happy with my decision. I expected the benefits that come with living in a luxury building, but I didn’t expect the sense of community among the tenants! Everyone here is so kind and welcoming which made the building really feel like home. Matthew & Christina in the leasing office are amazing!! Highly recommend

Didn't get a chance to check out the edge. But if I were to choose between summit and top of the rock, then I'd probably pick Summit. It's more interactive. Both offer amazing views of the city.
According to them, it's $135 per person/per month for pool/gym area and an additional $50 per person/per month for the upstairs level lounge and deck with the one BBQ grill. Any of the amenity spaces can be 'reserved' by anyone for however long they need. They give priority to one resident who takes up the basketball court/fitness area with his clients, so building advises people to leave when those areas are needed by the tenant.
