Love's is usually a go-to stop for us. Denny's closes at 5pm. At a truck stop. Got a hot dog for my pup. So toughI could barely break it in half. Hot case food same way. Been there a while. Half the fountain drinks were out. Cooler drinks were warm. Ladies room was filthy. Love's needs to overhaul or ditch this one. A lot of parking. A little slanted, but ok.

Nice, clean shower. And they have Denny’s

A must stop. With an impressive inventory, decent hot food, but the customer service gives this truck stop its name. Manager went above and beyond to make sure customers were happy. Genuine and awesome customer service.

Ever since it was a Flying J truck stop, this place has plenty to offer for food to go, drinks, ice, for the truckers they have showers available & plenty of items they might need on the truck, even for minor fixes. If it's a good hot meal you are looking for, whether you're a trucker stopping for fuel, or a break, it a weary traveler needing to take a break - they have a Denny's restaurant attached. The hours, however since COVID now are: 8am-8pm / Sunday - Saturday

I live in the Des Moines area and park my truck here on home time. I've talked to the manager and you can leave your truck for home time. They don't want trucks left for weeks or months at a time.
This location has 250 spots in the lot for semis. As stated in another answer the parking is tight.

No they don't have they don't have a car wash are truck wash
Yes, it's a Denny's.
Ok. It was a Flying J but it was one that Pilot had to sell when they bought Flying J. The government approved Pilot buying the near bankrupt Flying J under condition that they sell some of them to avoid having a monopoly in some areas. One of Petro's decor items was a big Howard Miller clock. This Love's has one in the Denny's restaurant. Therefore I wondered if this Former Flying J used to be a Petro. The small shower rooms are also present at many TA and Pilot truck stops. The big Flying J truck stops often had 12 or more shower rooms. They could have that many and accommodate more people. It also saved building and property taxes to build that way.
