The hostess at the door is very welcoming and makes you want to stay all night. I visited on a Friday night. The food was fresh and full of flavor! It was worth every penny. If you want a lively ambiance with quality food, this is your place!

Regretfully, I am downgrading my review this time. I was so looking forward to another outstanding experience similar to my first time going to Trio. On February 13th, a friend and I went for a Galentines special. We arrived early because we knew the photo booth was closing at 2 p.m. and our reservation was for the same time. The hostess receives high marks. We were warmly greeted and she walked us to our table and suggested we go straight to the photo booth before sitting down. That was a lot of fun and we took a few great shots. We went back to our table and snapped pictures if the table decorations and menu while waiting. We waited and waited and waited. There were only 3 or 4 tables besides us. The party that arrived after us received service pronto. We finally asked a waitress if any one would be taking our order. Turns out she was our waitress.She feigned surprise that our order hadn't been taken. Uhm, you only had a couple of tables AND the menus were still on our table so...It took quite a while for our food to be brought out which was closer to cold than warm. While the entrees were shared, it seems we were expected to eat off the same plates. We asked for additional plates so we could each have our own (was this asking too much?). My observant friend noticed our plates and glasses were different from the other tables. Not sure why? After finishing our meal, the waitress removed everything including the beverage napkin my friend, who had not finished her drink, was using. Aside from the hostess and the photographer, this visit was so underwhelming. They are the only reason for 3 stars. I may not return again. If I do, it will be based on my first experience. My friend will never return after this which was her first visit. I did speak with the manager who acknowledged they missed the mark this time.

Locally-sourced Farm to table fare with reasonable portion sizes, good atmosphere and wallet-friendly prices. The server was cheerfully efficient and the owner stopped by to ask about our experience. Get a burger!
