We went for dinner to celebrate a birthday. It was extremely noisy. We couldn't carry on a conversation without shouting. Some of our family members got the steak and they said it was good. Two of us got the seafood platter and it was terrible. Everything was overcooked and very fishy tasting. Our waiter, however, Henry was absolutely top notch. He was fantastic!!!

Good food, large portions. Service was great. It was loud but its expected from the crowd, not a bad thing. View of the river is nice. Bathroom was clean, kitchen was visible from my table, the cook was portioning pasta with his bare hands not a glove visible on any of them, and the pizza cook was drinking from a cup from a shelf above the prep table he made the pizza on. They accommodated special requests on the dish to remove anchovies and made buttered noodles for my child. Even though there is no kids menu so that's a plus.

My son and I took our wives out for their shared birthday on March 9th. Chef Alex and his team killed it! The filet my son had was cook to perfection with amazing taste. My wife and daughter-in-law both had thr Shrimp Scampi. The Scrimp was prepared perfectly, the taste was amazing and portions very generous too! My Zipp Di Pesce dish I believe was best of all. It contain Shrimp, Scallops & clams served over a bed of linguini. The sauce it was prepared in was heavenly especially with those scallops. We highly recommend Tony Ds! Angela our waitress was very attentive and had a great personality as a outstanding server. Shout to the Owner Chef Jay!

Our server was amazing and made our first experience at Tony D's a great one. I will definitely be coming back. Everything was awesome. The mozzarella balls with the tomatoes and balsamic was so delicious and then the entrée I got which was sausage with a sweet and spicy pineapple vinegar pepper thing and don't get me started on dessert with the peanut butter brownie and Canolis.

Tony D's is one of my "go-to" restaurants. I enjoy the many daily specials that the chef prepares. The fact that it is located downtown along the Genesee River provides a picturesque background. I can be seen there many times enjoying the food and pleasant servers. It remains one of Rochester 's "hot spots. " David Altobelli
Business casual is the best way to descripe the normal attire, suits and dresses down to boat shoes, nice shorts, and a decent shirt
